More than $1 million in jewelry was donated to a group of women who suffered from a rare form of cancer.
The fundraiser was organized by the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum and was a response to the growing number of people affected by the cancer.
More than 10,000 women have received the support of the UHMH.
The UHMW said it had collected more than $900,000 from the campaign to fund more than 700 women with cancer.
The UHME has donated nearly $2 million to cancer research.
