A jewelry store in northern Florida received a $1,500 raise in a new contract with the state.
The Florida Department of Labor announced on Tuesday that the Coral Springs-based Coral Jewelers will receive a $3,000 salary increase and will receive another $3.5 million in incentives in 2018.
“It is a great opportunity for our local workers, and we look forward to welcoming our new staff members to Coral Springs and supporting their continued development,” Coral Springs Mayor Michael Smith said in a statement.
The new deal with the Florida Department is the latest in a series of bonuses that have come with new contracts.
The state of Florida announced earlier this year that it would give an additional $2,500 to employees of the Broward County Government.
