By Football Italian staffThe La Liga giants face off against AC Milan at the Bernabeu on Sunday.
Here’s what to expect from the game.
AC Milano is a long-time Serie A club that has been in the top flight for the last few seasons, having made it to the Champions League semi-finals in 2016/17.
The side’s coach was Carlo Ancelotti, who led the Italian side to three consecutive Serie A titles in the mid-1990s.
Real Madrid have already won the Copa del Rey four times, with the last trophy in 2006, but have not finished above the second-placed Barcelona in the competition since 2004/05.
AC’s best record in the division is just one point behind Real Madrid’s, having won the previous two titles in 2009/10 and 2013/14.
Carlo Anellotti led Real Madrid to three successive Serie A title in the late 1990s.
The Real Madrid squad will include some players from the past, and the club is expected to include a new signing for the clash.
Marco Asensio is expected back for the match, having recently signed a two-year deal.
He joins the team for the first time since his move to Juventus, which ended in 2016.
The defender was a key player for Juventus in the 2016/2017 season, helping them to the league title and Europa League final.
Real Madrid also have new players such as Bernardo Silva and Alvaro Arbeloa in the squad, with Silva returning to the club for the second half of the campaign.
Real Madrid also signed former Napoli and Milan defender Rodrigo Palacio, who is expected in for his first match back from a season-long injury.
Moussa Sissoko and Sergio Ramos are also expected to return, while Pepe and Isco are both expected to make the team.
Despite the squad changes, there are no new faces to be found.
Carlo Zola is expected at the centre of the defence, with Sergio Ramos in the midfield, with Marcelo and Koke expected to move out wide.
The starting line-up for the game is the same as that of the last one, with Marco Asenio in defence, Isco in midfield, Palacio in attack, and Lucas Perez and Marcelo again at the back.
Forwards Mariano Alves and Alba will be back on the pitch, while Lucas Perez has been given a one-match suspension.
On the bench, Luka Modric is expected alongside Sergio Ramos and Isko Bačević, with Zola expected in his place.
In a match with a high-profile name, the fans will be able to cheer on the team, but the fans have already had a chance to cheer for their favourite players in the past.
With two matches remaining, Real Madrid has secured a place in the Champions league, which will be decided by the best goal difference.
